Packing guide
How to Pack an International Parcel
Good packing protects the contents and gives the courier stable dimensions for rating and handling.
A practical packing checklist
Use a sound outer carton sized for the contents. Cushion movement, protect edges, close every seam and keep the outside clear for the shipping label.
- Choose a strong outer carton
- Wrap items individually
- Fill empty space
- Use strong packing tape
- Photograph the contents before closing
When to ask for help
Fragile, valuable, unusually shaped, liquid, powered or temperature-sensitive items may need an eligibility and packing review before acceptance.
